Provence Zenith by ZChocolat

Few weeks ago, I received this exquisite basswood box filled with typical recipes from Provence by Zchocolat, from their new launched collection “With Love from Provence” a one-way ticket to the south of France! Woohoo!

From the smell of lavender to the warmth of the golden southern sun on your face, Provence is an experience unlike any other. The history, traditions, architecture and simple gastronomy make this picturesque countryside one of the most charming places in the world. Based in Aix-en-Provence, zChocolat is a witness to the region’s natural beauty finding it a daily source of inspiration to create new recipes and collections.

Zchocolat is an online seller of premium handmade French chocolate known for its distinctively styled premium chocolates and ultra stylish packaging, produced in Aix-en-Provence, France by award winning chocolatier Pascal Caffet.  Their chocolates and gift boxes are all handmade in France and shipped to 242 countries worldwide.

The collection unites three aspects of France: its luxury, as seen in the mahogany wood ‘Provence Jade 6‘ box; the naturally rustic side, represented in the basswood ‘Provence Zenith‘ box; and the simplicity of taking a moment of pleasure, highlighted in our ‘Provence 15-pc’, ‘Orange Duo’ and ‘Provence 30-pc’. But yeah, I got Provence Zenith of which contains 65 pcs | 159 x 108 x 77 mm | 380 g.

Inside the box are these recipes/assorments.

The Provençal Assortment. This assortment combines the traditional Aix-en-Provence specialty – calissons d’Aix; deliciously tender nougats prepared with whole crisp Provence almonds; and the essence of sun-ripened fruits: pâtes de fruit.

Exotic Assortment. This unique, gourmet selection of chocolates numbered 12 through 24, represents an assembly of popular tastes along with additional exotic savors. The more familiar flavors include milk chocolate with orange, a milk chocolate ganache, and a coffee ganache. The more exotic numbers are comprised of several rousing flavors and ingredients: Sri Lankan coconut, lemon, rose, coriander, Iranian pistachio and violet. This assortment holds seven 70% Venezuelan dark chocolates, six 40% Ivory Coast milk chocolates and two white Z chocolates.

The Provençal Hazelnut Assortment. Exclusive to this collection, these chocolate-coated Provençal hazelnuts will leave your recipient in awe.

Not to be bias but I really love its packaging, they never fail to impress me of how they customize such a beaut box with such delicious assortments inside. I was wondering at first of how where they able to ship a chocolate from France going to the Philippines knowing there products will melt. Well, on my surprise they where actually sent it to me safely with artificial coolers and canvass bag inside the package.

The most amazing thing about these chocolates are they are all natural, have no preservatives, minimal sugar with high cocoa content and “NO ALCOHOL”.  These chocolates are made fresh, I bet so. Haha! I just love the thought that I tasted different kinds of chocolates with delish recipes,  though some has weird taste but I totally like them all.
