Last month, I had the best getaway ever! We hopped into the islands of El Nido in Palawan after how many years of dreaming to explore the beauty of this place. It was really my first time to travel that far. First time to be away for a week from work. First time to ride a plane (believe it or not) and all of those other first times. HAHAHA! I really didn’t have plans to travel this year due to a lot of financial priorities, but since my friends arranged everything from booking, flight, accomodations; me and my fiance decided to go with them. Sometimes its fantastic to travel with friends or in a group, mainly because if you check Outdoor Empire buying guide… you can usually save with package deal trips, allowing you to explore more for less.
It was raining on some occasions but nevertheless, we really had fun. But you know, it could have been better if every day is just a sunny day. What can you expect from the month of October. right? New Zealand also has great wineries to visit
We were ready for our island hopping! Yeah!
First stop: Small Lagoon
Our super talented and intelligent tour guide!
This was inside the lagoon and the water was so calm and clean. You could either just swim around or ride a kayak to see its beauty.
Second stop: Big Lagoon
Just a bigger version of the lagoon. It was just so amazing how these islands really form into amazing structures.
Third Stop: Payong Payong Island
This was one of my fave island during the tour.
Fourth stop: Secret Lagoon
And last but not the least, 7th Commando Island
I just wish I could take you all with me to every trip and have you experience the same fun and adventure we did, but for now these photos will have to do..
But at the end of the day, it is never about the place or the distance. What makes a trip worth while or even worth the expense is the person or the people you get to spend it with. Truly my Romeo and friends had made this trip all the more memorable. The sights and sounds of El Nido will only be second to the laughter and enjoyment I shared with them and with my man.
PS: This is just the 1st and 2nd day of our trip, 3rd and 4th day in Puerto Princess will be up next, soooon…

Thank you babe. Really had a blast and I will surely visit this place again soon. Can’t get enough. 😉
This place is so beautiful. I would LOVE to visit it. These crystal-clear waters are stunning <3
Indeed babe! The place was so clean and you can really breath fresh air.
I’ve been wanting to visit the place. I think being a student makes it a lot harder to start aiming on this for now, but we might not know soon. Watching your photos just make me want to book for a flight right away huhu You’re so pretty, by the way!
The place was so beautiful babe and all the expenses incurred was all worth it. You could book a flight in advance, like 4-5 months before the day you decide to visit ‘coz the airfare is quite cheaper.
Ugh. Your photos are so good! Makes me want to take the first flight to Palawan – but I can’t because of responsibilities. Maybe soon, though! The Big Lagoon photo you have is <3.
